The cross - Atlantic flight was very long and the very proper. English lady was increasingly disconcerted by the man next to her, whose conversation became increasingly colorful the more he drank. Finally she said to him, 'I would appreciate your remaining totally silent for the rest of the flight. We do not agree on one single thing.'
